The basics

Ok, I work in a book store, and I read stories to kids twice a week as part of my job. In addition to the kids books I keep up with for that, I read a lot of books for myself. I've used livejournal inthe past, but I don't like that community all that much, and I went to a simple spiral notebook recently . . . that works, but it isn't easy to search or anything, so I've decided to try here and see how that works out.

My plan is to post a brief (or not) bit about each book I read (or listen to, as I'm big on audio books too) and two posts a week for the story times. That is the plan anyway, and you'll just have to tune in to see if that really is what happens or if my intention turns out to be something else entirely.
